The price per day for 2 people amounts to

07.01. - 19.12. = € 90
20.12. - 06.01. = € 110.

Additional persons are each charged an extra € 10. All the above named daily prices are included additional costs, towels, bedding and final cleaning. Children under 2 years stay free. A cot and high-chair are available free of charge. For the internet there is a charge of € 15 per week commenced.

A special highlight: Above the holiday house "Casa Helen" lies the separate holiday house "Casa Antonio". Both holiday houses can be rented together by a smaller travel party, so that altogether up to 10 people can be accommodated.

High steep cliffs build the image of the coastline in the north of Tenerife. It is here that we find the pretty and well cared-for small village of El Sauzal with its nice plaza and a lot of flowers. On top of the cliffs there are various attractive Miradores (view points). A special attraction in El Sauzal is the wine museum. Just the building in itself is worth a visit: a former farm-house from the 17th century with an old winepress in the inner courtyard. In the different exposition rooms the history of wine farming on Tenerife is explained clearly. It goes without saying that you can also try some of the local wines or even buy your favourite wine on the spot.

But El Sauzal offers a lot more, like e.g. the pottery of Manuel. He is fast like the wind turning the clay on his potter's wheel, making commercial ceramics like plates, cups, vases, pots etc. In the village you find many supermarkets and restaurants. We would like to recommend two very nice restaurants: Los Angeles and La Ermita. They do not only offer Canarian and international cooking delights, but a large variety of fish specialities as well.

 

Besides, that you have the opportunity to visit the farmer's market in La Matanza during the weekend where you can find fresh fruit and vegetables, wine and other products offered by the local farmers. The distance to the south airport is about 80 km, to the north airport about 20 km. The capital Santa Cruz is about 35 km away and Puerto de la Cruz 15 km.

The house "Casa Helen" is around 80 m” in area, and has a living room, a kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a large sun terrace. The living room has a comfortable sofa and two armchairs. There is a large TV with DVD, and a radio with CD-player. The kitchen is equipped with all the important utensils that you might need on holiday: coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, 4-ring gas hob, fridge/freezer and oven. There are double beds (160 x 200 cm) in both bedrooms. One bedroom also has a TV installed which is linked to the satellite connection in the living room. The bathroom is fitted with a hydro-massage shower, WC, washbasin, hairdryer and a washing machine. Bed linen, bath towels, hand towels and tea-towels are provided in plenty.

There is a very large terrace of approx. 120 m² with a pool of 8 x 4 m. On the terrace you find garden furniture, sun beds, a shower and a barbecue. From here you have a wonderful view over the Atlantic, just about 300 m away and a large 180º panoramic view over the north coast of Tenerife. The sun shines almost the whole day on the terrace, from mid-morning until sunset. The house is situated about 250 m above sea level. In the cellar the guests have a billiard-table and a home trainer at their disposal. The bus stop is about 100 m away.
