Right on the Costa Adeje Golf Course, the “Villa Castello” is in a class of its own. Golfers will find more information of special interest at the end of this description.

We have named this house after an Italian palace, as that´s just what comes to mind when you see it, a luxurious little castle in a Mediterranean setting, somewhere in Tuscany. We could also have called it “Blue Lagoon”, since enjoying the view from the terrace by the pool overlooking the sea, that´s just where you feel you might be, the “Blue Lagoon”. The view out over the Atlantic is wonderful, and so too are the sunsets.

The internal area of this villa is approximately 180 m², distributed over three floors. On the ground floor you´ll find the 50 m² living/dining room with its open kitchen, as well as a bedroom, a bathroom and a guest cloakroom. On the first floor is the second bedroom, two bathrooms and a terrace. In the basement, there is a child's room, a further bathroom and a utility room fitted with a washing machine and an airing cupboard.

The grounds extend to some 400 m² and include a large sun terrace surrounded by a small, but beautifully landscaped ornamental garden. The pool is triangular and each side is about 8 m long. The depth is around 1.60 m. On the terrace there are four sun loungers and other garden furniture. A small part of the terrace is roofed, to provide a little shade. The terrace is right on the edge of the golf course.

In the living room are two large, comfortable sofas and a television with satellite connection for the receipt of major international TV and radio channels. There is a stereo system with a radio, and a DVD and CD player. The living room is open to the kitchen. There are five chairs at the dining table. The kitchen has direct access to the roofed terrace, where there is a further dining table.

The modern kitchen is a visual delight and is equipped with all the technical necessities: a four-ring gas hob (every pro cooks with gas!), an oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, juicer and much more. In the utility room there´s a washing machine, and an iron and ironing board.

The three bedrooms are spacious and modern. In one bedroom there is a double-bed (with one mattress) of 180 x 200 cm. The second bedroom has a double-bed of 160 x 200 cm (with two mattresses, 80 x 200 cm each) and another television. Both bedrooms have a wonderful view of the garden, the golf course and the sea. In the child's bedroom there is a single bed of 80 x 190 cm. Comfortable mattresses ensure a good night´s sleep. The bedroom on the first floor also has a walk-in wardrobe.

The house has four bathrooms. They are fitted with shower or bath, washbasin and WC. A hairdryer is available. Plenty of bed linen, hand towels, bath towels and tea towels are provided.

Also available: free internet access, on-site car parking and a barbecue in the garden. Upon arrival, guests are provided with a selection of complimentary wine and mineral water. The "Villa Castello" is a non-smoking property, although smoking is permitted outside the house.

There are several very good restaurants and supermarkets within easy reach, only 3-5 minutes drive away. Sports facilities, including tennis, and more or less all water sports, are located nearby. The nearest riding stable is 10 minutes away. The distance to Tenerife South airport is about 25 km, and the North Airport is about 90 km away. The capital, Santa Cruz, is about 80 km away, and it´s about 110 km Puerto de la Cruz. The centre of Adeje, the nearest large town, is 5 minutes drive away, and Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos are between 5 and 15 minutes away. The fishing village of La Caleta, with its excellent fish restaurants, is also only 5 minutes away.

Just five kilometres from Playa de las Americas, is the “Golf Costa Adeje” golf course, planned as one of the most important leisure complexes in the Canary Islands. The first 18 of the golf course´s 27 holes cover a total 800,000 m². The final nine holes were built next to the driving range, overlooking the sea, and are a bit shorter, but technically very demanding. The practice area has a beautiful view of the sea, and its six lakes make the game more interesting and varied. The design of the course “combining landscaping and countryside” is notable at first sight of Costa Adeje, as the contours of the fairways adapt perfectly to the natural conditions. To this end, more than 5,000 m of stone walls of former agricultural terraces have been restored. There are breathtaking views from the golf course of the sea, the island of La Gomera, Playa de las Americas and the mountains of Adeje. The strategically placed greens are generally spacious. The course is structured in par 3, 4 and 5 sections and begins with a long par 5 of 510 metres. The 18th hole is another par 5, of some 500 metres.
