The
small family run holiday resort "Cuco Azul" is situated at a precipice
about 200 m above sea level offering a fantastic view on the Atlantic,
the Teide and the Orotava valley. Besides, it is situated in the
preferred area of La Matanza and is surrounded by a lush tropical
garden with palm trees, cactus, avocado and lemon trees.
Quite
rightly, the visitor feels as if he were engulfed in a green oasis,
far away from mass tourism, and able to enjoy the reigning peace.
Time after time, guests praise the idyllic character of this
location. This counts for the unforgettable sunsets too, which can be
seen from the terrace. The "Faisán Azul" is a paradise for
every botanist and gardener, since it was designed as a small
botanical garden. In the surrounding countryside, there are banana
plantations and many small vineyards to be found. The wines from this
region belong to the best the island has to offer. There are some
restaurants nearby that can be reached in just a few minutes´ walk.
Guests have shared use of a swimming pool (8,5 m x 4,5 m). Internet
access is possible by WIFI if your laptop has an adapter.
The
price is inclusive of all utility charges, including electricity and
water, with the exception of the following:
use of the washing
machine is charged at € 3 per wash and if you require the use of
portable electric heaters, these are available at a cost of € 3 per
heater per day.
The towels and bath towels as well as the bed linen are changed once
a week. Apart from that, the place is also cleaned once mid-week. If
you like, we can bring fresh rolls to the property every morning. In
all the properties there is satellite TV with reception of
international radio and TV programmes in digital quality. All beds
have comfortable mattresses and feather-filled continental quilts and
pillows (80 x 80 cm). A cot can be placed in every bedroom. This is
not recommended in the tower rooms. A large parking area belonging to
the house is available.
Owing to its privileged location, the "Cuco Azul"
holiday property is an ideal starting point for excursions and walking
tours. Apart from that, many sporting facilities such as swimming,
diving, tennis, etc. are offered in the surrounding area. The nearest
golf course is only a few kilometres away. We recommend hiring a car.
These tower rooms are two totally
separate holiday studios. It is the round method of construction and
the furnishing in natural wood that give the tower rooms their romantic
flair. Not to speak of the unique and breathtaking view you have from
the terrace overlooking the sea, mount Teide and the Tenerife north
coast. Each tower room has a living room/bedroom, a bathroom with a
shower and a toilet, a kitchen with an electric cooker with two plates,
a coffee machine, a toaster and all major kitchen utensils you need on
holiday. There is a double bed 160 x 200 cm. Every apartment has a
private entrance and a private tower terrace where you find garden
furniture, 2 sun beds and a fixed grill. The tower rooms are suited for
2 people.
