The house is notable for its comfortable furnishings and fittings. It differs from most other holiday houses of the island, as it is not everyday that you come across a house which features such an attractive combination of wood and natural stone that have been coordinated so beautifully.

Warm colours and a welcoming atmosphere highlight the great and well-kept general overall impression. The house is bathed in light and furnished in a bright and friendly style. Outside the front door there is a lovely sunny patio with deck chairs and especially attractive rustic wooden garden furniture.

The house is set out for 2 people and has a large sitting room with a dining area, a kitchen, a large bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a shower, washbasin and toilet. Bath towels, hand towels and tea towels are provided in plenty, as is bed linen. If requested, baby’s travel cot can be provided. The whole living space comprises 85 m² (approx.).

The spacious sitting room is comfortably furnished. There is also satellite TV for digital reception of TV and radio channels as well a radio with a CD player. There is a large dining table with four chairs.

The modern kitchen features a 2 ring ceramic hob, an oven, fridge, kitchen sink, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and juicer. The bed in the bedroom is 200 x 160 cm. There is also a washing machine as well as an ironing board and an iron.

There are several terraces in the grounds, a large garden and a parking space for the hire car. A barbecue grill is available. There is a newly installed solar-heated pool (ca. 6 x 3 m)  - almost always between 24 and 26º C - and a sun terrace with sun-loungers and a parasol. The view from the house or the terraces to the Atlantic is simply immense. And the sunrises too. You will not forget this holiday so quickly!!!

The “Casa Madera” house is the ideal starting point for hiking tours. The first hiking trail is only 50m away. It’s about 15 minutes drive to the beaches at the South of the island. The South Airport is 15 km away, the North Airport about 75 km. The nearest restaurants and supermarkets are about 700m away in the village of Granadilla. There is also a pharmacy, banks and other shops.

You are asked not to smoke inside the house, in consideration of future guests. You may, of course, smoke outside the house without any problem.
