We are just back from a fabulous week at Casa Caleton. The villa was in the best location in Playa San Juan. The views from the villa were spectacular and it was very special to sit out in the evening and watch the sun set behind La Gomera.
The living area was very comfortable and although all the TV channels were in German it was not a problem as we didn't go on holiday to watch TV anyway. We did take a few DVD's which we watched once it was dark and we no longer wanted to sit outside.
The beach is only a few minutes walk away along the promenade and the sea is very good for swimming and there are bars and restaurants behind the beach for refreshments. Also a big supermarket is only a short walk away which was very convenient.
For us it is the location of the Villa right on the sea front which made it so special. I found it very relaxing to lay on the sun loungers reading my book whilst listening to the waves hitting the rocks below.
We are returning to Casa Caleton next year.
